State Business Systems

The Payroll/Personnel Support group provides functional and system support for the State of Alabama Personnel and Payroll applications. The support of these applications is critical to personnel and payroll related functionality such as employee classifications, distribution of pay, employee benefits and tax reporting.

The Payroll/Personnel team provides application support to State Personnel for the following services:

  • Payroll
  • W2’s & 1099’s
  • One-time Payments
  • Annual Raises and COLA adjustments
  • Payroll Deductions/Contributions (Retirement, State and Federal income taxes)
  • Accruals and Personnel leave balances
  • Position Control
  • Compliance with State and Federal personnel laws, regulations and pay plans
  • Labor Distribution
