This site serves as your resource for gathering and sharing information regarding SMART Business Systems.
The SMART Business Systems program will leverage technology innovation, software capabilities and Best Practice processes to deliver a One-State, One-Stop approach for all individuals and entities served by the State of Alabama.
As part of this statewide transformation, SMART Business Systems will provide a system to be used by State agencies, boards and commissions for the following functions:

The SBS Team held an informational briefing for over 300 central and agency employees to provide an overview of the SMART Business Systems program. Bob Childree, State Comptroller and Director, SMART Business Systems, provided information regarding mission, organization and scope of this statewide initiative.
